Simon has chosen to create a new project under the namer "Richard Collier" in order to focus solely on the one genre: Modern Classical Piano.
Specifically, this gives him the room to concentrate on the relationship between the Piano and the Pianist, to fuse the human with the instrument turning
emotions into music through the touch of his fingers on the keys and the mechanics of the hammers and felted strings of the Piano. The simplicity of this process brings inspiration and freedom to explore new compositions. Other components, such as life experience and the connection to the natural world also serve to develop his creativity.
